Star-Crossed by Barbara Dee

Hello everyone! Today’s post is about a book that I read almost a month ago called Star-Crossed written by Barbara Dee. I thought it was a really well written book, and the type of story that this world needs more of. Star-Crossed is a book from the perspective of a LGBTQ+ girl named Mattie, who likes both boys and girls. Throughout the course of the story Mattie realizes this fact, and comes to terms with it. Before reading this book, I had never read anything like it, but I am so glad that I did end up reading this book! Star-Crossed is a great novel, and I story that I can’t wait to share! So let's get ready! Get set! And... GO!

Hello everyone! In honor of the recent solar eclipse (leave me a comment if you saw it!), today’s post is for Every Soul a Star, a novel by Wendy Mass featuring (you guessed it!) a solar eclipse! Just yesterday Greek Girl received a beautifully decorated envelope in the mail with the return address of Abby Cooper. Yes, the very same Abby Cooper that wrote Sticks & Stones and Bubbles. You can click here to view that post on ReadingWayPastBedtime. In the envelope Greek Girl received, there were an assortment of items. Bookmarks for Sticks & Stones and Bubbles, a bookplate, a sheet of word and thought bubble stickers, and a note. One that the made receiver know that some thanks were in order!
